Who we are
Serpair is operated by Serpair Inc. Australia Pty Ltd ("Serpair", "we", "us"), which provides SEO and generative engine optimization (GEO) tooling for growing teams and agencies. Our registered address is available on request.
What the product does
Serpair checks whether AI answer engines — ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini — name and cite a brand when users ask buying questions, and tracks Google rank. A Google rank and an AI citation are separate measurements. Dashboard scores shown on the marketing site are illustrative and are not a description of any customer's data.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name and email address when you register.
- Billing information — processed by our payment provider; we receive limited billing metadata (such as plan, status, and the last four digits of a card) and do not store full card numbers.
- Product usage — the domains, keywords, questions, and settings you enter, and the results we generate for you.
- Technical and analytics data — cookies, device and browser information, and usage events collected via analytics on our website.
We do not collect categories of data beyond those described above.
How we use your information
- To create, secure, and operate your account.
- To provide the GEO checks and Google rank tracking you request.
- To process payments for plans (billed in USD) and credit packs (billed in AUD).
- To operate, maintain, and improve the website and the product.
- To communicate with you about your account, security, and service changes.
Service providers we share data with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service. We share only the data needed for each to perform its function:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe handles your card details under its own privacy policy; we do not receive or store full card numbers.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud hosting and infrastructure for the website and application.
- Google (Analytics / Tag Manager) — website analytics via a Google Tag Manager container on our marketing site.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer, in which case we will seek to ensure it remains protected.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including a Google Tag Manager container, to understand how the site is used and to improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.
Data retention
We keep account and usage data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records (for example, billing records) to meet legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to those who need it.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can access and update most account information directly in the app, or contact us using the details below and we will respond in line with applicable law.
Children
Serpair is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
International users
Serpair is operated with infrastructure provided by AWS and may process and store data in regions where our providers operate. By using the service you understand your data may be processed in those locations with appropriate safeguards.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
